East Village Homes for Sale
East Village, the biggest of the downtown San Diego communities is a busy and charming part of San Diego. Located in a popular part of the downtown area, East Village lies alongside I-5 and has been renovated extensively in recent years because of the construction of San Diego’s Petco Park in 2004. Petco Park is the home stadium of the San Diego Padres Baseball Team.
The San Diego Padres, who used to share San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium with the San Diego Chargers Football Team, now call Petco Park home. Petco Park is a major San Diego attraction as it is fairly new and has a wonderful open-air design. Petco Park also holds several other kinds of events, such as special city festivities, concerts, and various other competitions. During baseball season, East Village is a-bustle with baseball fans from all over the county, but is also busy on other days with sport fanatics who use the public park’s outfield area.
